Amendments to Forsyth County’s Tree Protection and Replacement Ordinance Adopted

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners adopted amendments to Ordinance No. 98, Forsyth County’s Tree Protection and Replacement Ordinance, at their July 15 meeting. Public hearings on this matter were held June 3 and July 15.

The modifications to Forsyth County’s Tree Protection and Replacement Ordinance amend the term for the appointed members of the tree protection commission from two years to four years, and introduce a guideline stating that any recommendation that a member of the tree protection commission be removed must be approved by the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners
