MANAGEMENT SERVICES – WATER TREATMENT PLANT

CLOSING DATE HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL JULY 22, 2010 @ 2:00 PM PER ADDENDUM #1

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide management services for the Forsyth County Water Treatment Facility located at 2255 Antioch Road, Cumming, GA  30040.  These services include operating and maintaining the facility.

Mandatory Pre-Proposal meeting is scheduled for 9:00 a.m., Friday, June 18, 2010.  All interested bidders are to meet at the facility: 2255 Antioch Road, Cumming, GA 30040.  Only firms attending this meeting will have proposals accepted.

Proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. local time Thursday, July 8, 2010 at the Forsyth County Purchasing Department, 118 Castleberry Road, Suite 13, Cuming, GA  30040.  Any proposal received after this time and date will not be accepted.  Proposals will be

publicly opened and only names of submitting firms will be read aloud at 2:05 p.m. July 8^th 2010 within the Purchasing Department.  The list of submitting firms will be on our website within 24 hours of closing date/time.

Proposal specifications may be obtained from the Forsyth County web site:  http://www.forsythco.com/, on the right hand side click on “Bids & Results” and follow the directions provided.  These are downloadable at no cost, if a firm desires to pick up a hard copy there is a non-refundable cost of $10.00 (cash/check), if a firm desires a hard copy to be mailed the non refundable cost is $13.00 (cash/check).

The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and to waive technicalities and informalities.

Proposers and the general public are invited to attend the reading.  Award of proposal will be made at a later date.
